This is my gout plant, given to me by my mother years ago. I love it. And I have no idea why in the world it's called a gout plant. It takes a good bit of water; I water it about every three days. It has a bright orange bloom. The next time it blooms, which should be soon as it blooms often, I'll take a photo of the bloom and post it here. This plant appears to be disease resistant. I do nothing but water it.
